REPORT FOR THERMAL POWER PLANT INVESTMENT IN BİNGÖL - KARLIOVA

Özet
In recent years, it is becoming important for which resources and what rates to be used to supply energy needed by countries around the World. Particularly, the decrease in the amount of fossil fuels has increased the importance of consumable resources in the world and even new energy policies were developed and started to search for renewable alternative energy sources. And also, the damage caused by fossil fuels to the environment has further increased the tendency to renewable energy resources. However, when the statistics are examined, it is seen that the vast amount of the energy is stiil obtained from the consumable energy resources. In Turkey, power plants are generally use lignite and natural gas. When the lignite resources of Turkey examined, it is observed that some of the lignitete resources that have potential to be used as fuel in the Thermal Power Plant have not been utilized until today. One of these lignite resources is located Derinçay Basin of Karlıova district of Bingöl. In this report, the thermal power plant investment in Derinçay Basin is examined.
