Özet

The YER-SIS Project spanned approximately 3 years and yielded 3 separate reports. This document provides an overview of the scope, methodology and main results of the project and summarizes these 3 reports focusing on the urban and rural service centers in Türkiye, the rural settlements in Türkiye and the socio-economic network relations between provinces and regions. The outputs of the project will make significant contributions to the design and implementation processes of national and regional development policies and the investment decisions of the public and private sectors, thereby increasing the effectiveness of implementation. In addition, the data infrastructure provided by the decision support system carried out within the scope of the project will pave the way for new and comprehensive analyses in this field, especially academic studies.
